La Bayadère is a ballet, originally staged in four acts by French choreographer Marius Petipa to the music of Ludwig Minkus. The ballet was first presented by the Imperial Ballet at the Imperial Bolshoi Kamenny Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia, on 4 February 1877.
La Bayadère – which story is basically the same as Giselle – is a story of the beautiful Nikiya madly in love with the inconstant prince Solor. Indian Spices, perfumes, and colors have inspired us this captivating scent, like an oriental dream in the sumptuous India of the Maharajas.
